Notes from the April 21st reunion planning meeting:
- Attendees: Christine Bensman, Ian Caton, Penny Dondero, Renee Haggard, Greg Monnig, Melissa Morris, Mary Beth Schellin, Matt Wuerstl
- Went through list of classmates still needing to be located.
- Matt will issue an updated list. We will send letters ASAP to those that we only have addresses
- Matt will prepare a cover letter or flyer with the Reunion Information and information regarding sending money that will be included with the mailing
- Christine relayed information on Moonwalk rental
- Rental Rates W/ an attendant
- Once money has been collected for the reunion and we know the number of kids that will be there, a decission will be made whether to rent a moonwalk
- Buttons to wear on shirts with the same 3 adjectives we had in yearbook.
- Mike Liscke has offered to make the buttons. He indicated he can do it at no cost.
- Discussed menu options
- Caterer info: David Glynn, executive chef at the WPAFB officer's club, former owner/chef at the Peasant Stock restaurants
- A draft Menu will be available as soon as Matt has time to sit down with Dave to work it out. Tentatively, we've talked about the following:
- Salads: Peasant salad and mixed greens salad
- Entrees: One vegetarian entree, and possibly lasgna and or a chicken or beef dish
- Sides: Several vegetable side dishes and bread
- Decorations : centerpieces, streamers, balloons, plates etc...
- Christine has Flower Factory membership for decorations
- Christine has tax exempt Sam's Club membership for plates, tableware etc.
- Christine will price some decorations so we can try and determine a budget by the May meeting.
- T-shirts for game on Sun. - Checking on prices design ...
- Mary Beth and Matt both had some ideas on people who could make the shirts.
- Matt was going to send Mary Beth a layout of what we were planning to do.
- Moonwalk for kids for Saturday
- Christine gathered some info on moonwalk rentals for Saturday:
- Rates: $250 all day use including delivery and tax
- Attendant fee: $25/hour
- We'll decide whether to rent the moonwalk once we know how many children will be attending the reunion on Saturday.
